Pros | Cons |
The weak headlight power of the previous XPulse 200 was well-known, and this appears to have been remedied in the four-valve version. In addition, the improved LED headlight is touted to provide better nighttime visibility. | One of the flaws was the ability to grunt at highway speeds for effortless overtaking. The 4 Valve unit will have a slight advantage, but it will be insignificant for multi-day, long-distance trips. |
The 200V includes a standard aluminum skid plate to protect the engine, a redesigned toothed brake pedal for improved grip, and an upswept exhaust for easy water crossings. | Because the performance gain isn’t significant, the new XPulse 200 4 Valve isn’t projected to perform well on the highway. |
The gear ratios have also been modified for enhanced tractability, acceleration, and overall transmission. | |
The four-valve, oil-cooled engine produces more power at mid-and top-end speeds and ensures stress-free engine performance, even at high speeds, while reducing vibrations. |
