2022 Yamaha Zuma 125- Overview

Yamaha has released a photo of the upgraded version of the Zuma 125 off-road scooter that it has been offering in the international market.

Yamaha unveiled its updated 2022 Zuma 125 scooter on May 18, 2021, with a rugged new look for all future urban adventures.

This scooter is ready for any commute, thanks to its new asymmetrical headlights and estimated 101 mpg fuel economy (43 Kmpl).

The engine is a 125cc Blue Core liquid-cooled engine from the company.

It’s a four-stroke, liquid-cooled single-cylinder with Yamaha’s Variable Valve Actuation, which directs power when and where you need it in the rev range.

It’s a twist-and-go automatic with a centrifugal clutch and belt-driven transmission, much like most scooters.

The Zuma 125 motor produces “powerful torque at lower speeds,” according to Yamaha, but no output figures are provided.

According to Yamaha, the 2022 Zuma 125 runs on 12-inch lightweight wheels with new DURO tubeless tyres with an “aggressive-looking block design,” according to Yamaha.

It’s not an off-road scooter, but the new Zuma 125 wants you to know it’s not the cutest.

According to Yamaha, the Juma 125 has a steel tube frame construction, telescopic front differential, dual rear shock, 3.2-inch travel suspension, making it ideal for city streets and unpaved roads.

Although the steel frame isn’t brand new, the styling is now pure ADV. With a leading beak, a tall front fender, and a boxy appearance, the sleek styling of the old Zuma is no longer present.

We’re excited to see how durable the fork and dual shocks are. At just over three inches at either end, the travel numbers are modest. The gaiters will cover the 33 mm fort tubes, which off-roaders will appreciate.

Using the new Zuma 125’s related brake system, you can stop with a 245 mm hydraulic wave-type front disc and a 230 mm rear disc brake.

For urban security, the ignition has a locking cover. A wide seat, well-hidden footpegs, and easy-to-hold handles provide comfort for passengers.

It’s not an ADV scooter, but it’s good to know it can do a bit of light dirt duty now and then.

The entire helmet and two helmet hangers can be conveniently mounted on the provided deck.

The Juma 125 also comes with twin-pod adjustable headlights, a bulky fairing, new body panels, 12-inch wheels, and off-road tires. USB-A port and LCD instrument cluster are among the features.

It has 6 liters of fuel tank capacity. The fuel level is displayed on an LCD dashboard.

The 2022 Yamaha Zuma 125 looks primed for genuine off-road excursions before and after dark, thanks to asymmetrical round headlights and an auxiliary light on the dash.

We can’t wait to see how filthy the Zuma gets.

When will the 2022 Yamaha Zuma 125 be available in dealerships?

It’ll be available in Team Yamaha Blue or Matte Black in the United States in July 2021.
