Moving towards its aesthetic and design, the new Yamaha XSR 155 is inspired by the ‘Yamaha Sports Heritage’ system similar to XSR 700 and XSR 900, which are currently available in the international markets.
However, the mechanical parts are taken from the R15 V3.
The company is already selling MT-15 Street Fighter designs using the same engine in the international auto markets.
The Chassis, inverted telescopic front fork, rear mono-shock, engine, and some components have been taken from the specified Thai MT-15 for the new XSR155.
The Yamaha XSR 155 is equipped with a round full LED headlamp, full LED tail-lamp, a tear-dropped fuel tank, and a flat single-piece seat that complement its old-school appeal.
Furthermore, inspired by the retro design, the Yamaha XSR 155 has sports headlamp struts, a restructured sump guard, and a reshaped exhaust plate with a pore-like style inspired by the retro motorbikes.
Talking about its engine specifications, the Yamaha XSR 155 is powered by a 155 cc liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine that delivers a maximum power of 18.6 HP @ 10,000 rpm a maximum torque of 14.7 Nm.

The upcoming Yamaha XSR 155 top speed is 135 kmph.
The XSR 155 has a total fuel capacity of 10 liters only, but it should have come up with a bigger fuel tank, but neither less; for a 155 cc motorcycle, 10 liters fuel tank quite all right.
On the positive note, the Yamaha XSR 155 mileage is 49 kmpl. Quite impressive!
Moving towards its additional features, the Yamaha XSR 155 comes with dual-channel ABS, alloy wheels, a digital instrument cluster along with a semi-circle tachometer, and a single pod instrumental clutch that makes the XSR 155 like a premium bike.
Let us now discuss its brakes and suspension of the Yamaha XSR 155.
The new Yamaha XSR 155 has an upside-down fork at the front and a mono-shock suspension at the back.
Meanwhile, it has disc brakes on both sides of the wheels.
However, the Indian model of XSR 155 is likely to develop a sport telescopic fork upfront and single-channel ABS to support the braking.
