All-New 2021 Mahindra Bolero Overview
Mahindra & Mahindra is adding some new models and many upgraded models to its SUV lineup this year.
Mahindra is preparing to launch XUV 700, Next Generation Scorpio, Bolero Neo and Electric XUV 300 and Electric KUV 100 models.
Apart from the latest XUV700, which will be available in Nepal & India later this year, Mahindra is also planning to launch the new Bolero utility vehicle in 2021.
Even though the homegrown automaker has been working on the new Bolero in secret, the updated model has been spotted a few times in the months leading up to its launch in mid-2021.

History
Mahindra’s Bolero was first launched in August 2000. It had a significant update in September 2011.
Similarly, in September 2016, it was upgraded a lot. At the same time, a new model Bolero Power Plus with a length of four meters, was unveiled.
Sales of the new style boiler with BS6 engine started in April 2020. But, in Nepal, Bolero is coming in a BS4 engine.
Body & Aesthetic Changes
The new Bolero will have a big difference in the exterior paint from the current Bolero. Now the Bolero will come in a dual-tone option.
According to spy images, the new Bolero uses red on the bonnet, roof and pillars. However, the bumper is gray. The essential front grille and the front bumper will be painted metallic.
The model gets a minor update in the form of slightly updated headlamps, and since it’s likely to be a lower version, it’ll be missing out on a few extras, including fog lights and body-coloured ORVMs.
The headlights of the new Bolero are also seen in the new design.
Interiors
Keyless entry, a digital instrument cluster, a Bluetooth-enabled music system with AUX and USB connectivity, air conditioning, and power steering come standard on the Mahindra Bolero.
It also features a modernized spacious cabin, a new dashboard system, push-button start and stops powerful AC.
Engine
Mahindra Bolero has a 1.5-litre turbocharged diesel engine, which produces a maximum of 76 bhp of power and 210 Nm of torque.
It has a 5-speed manual gearbox.
This car is rear-wheel drive. The powertrain is expected to be exact to the new Bolero.
The average mileage of the new-gen Mahindra Bolero SUV is 16kmpl.
Safety Features Includes
The Bolero comes with standard ABS, dual front airbags, rear parking sensors, and speed warning.
Estimated Launch Date & Price
The Bolero SUV is expected to hit the Indian market by the middle of this year and later in the Nepali market.
Its estimated value in the Indian market will be from 840,000 to 939,000. Price in Nepal has not yet been decided.
